1939 – 2015

LEWISTON — Nicholas M. Masselli Jr., 76, of Lewiston died suddenly on Thursday, Aug. 6.

He was born in Lewiston, Feb. 17, 1939, son of the late Nicholas and Lucille Perreault Masselli Sr. He was educated in Lewiston schools, served in the U.S. Marine Corps and was married Oct. 3, 1959, to Rhoda J. Masselli, who passed on April 22, 2012.

Prior to his retirement, Nick was employed at Bath Iron Works. He was a member of the Prince of Peace Parish at Holy Cross Church.

He enjoyed spending time with family and friends and camping at Sebago Lake.

He is survived by his daughter, Tina Chouinard and husband, John, of Greene;

three grandchildren, Mandy, Zachary and Joshua Chouinard; great-grandchildren, Caidence and Colton; two brothers, Jerome and wife, Claudette Masselli, of Augusta, and John and wife, Carolee Masselli, of Chiefland, Fla.
