LEWISTON — Advocates for Children hired Brenna O’Sullivan and Sarah Tatlock.

O’Sullivan, a Maine native, recently moved back to her home state from Memphis, Tenn. She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in psychology with a focus in social psychology. She has taught middle school science; developed and facilitated programs with nonprofits that serve individuals with disabilities and their families; and coordinated a community engagement scholarship program. She joined Advocates for Children’s team as a community educator.

Tatlock is a Boothbay Harbor native who holds a master’s degree in social work with a concentration in policy analysis and a bachelor’s degree in social work and political science. She has experience in direct service with immigrants, refugees, children with behavioral health needs and their families as well as data entry, research, policy-making and program development.

Most recently, she was a case manager at Catholic Charities Maine, working with mentally ill adults, and a utilization reviewer for Catholic Charities Maine quality and compliance department while obtaining LCSW licensure. She looks forward to building the targeted case management program at Advocates for Children.
