LIVERMORE — Two people from Canton were injured Sunday afternoon when their vehicle went off Route 108 into a rock wall, Maine State Police Trooper Nathan Jamo said.

Dianne Doughty, 41, was driving a Jeep Liberty toward Canton at about 2:30 p.m. Sunday with Dale Doughty, 32, in the passenger seat. He made suicidal statements, pulled on the steering wheel and the vehicle went off the road into the wall, Jamo said.

Both were taken to Central Maine Medical Center in Lewiston by NorthStar ambulances. She was treated for head and hip injuries and has since been released. He was expected to be released Tuesday, the trooper said.
