1925 – 2015
HOWLAND — June Natalie Kilgore Mills, 90, of Howland, previously from Poland and Norway, passed away peacefully on Saturday, July 18, in Howland after a brief illness.
June was born in Poland to Gladys Stone Kilgore and Hobert J. Kilgore on Jan. 14, 1925. June married Donald H. Mills on April 23, 1946. They have two girls, Pamela Mills Gauthier Groff and Donna Mills Cossaboom Hinkley.
June enjoyed her family, the family dogs, traveling, her friends and her church family. She was a lifetime member of the Minot Corner United Methodist Church, serving on several committees over the years.
June was predeceased by her parents, Hobert and Gladys; and her husband, Donald H. Mills.
She is survived by her daughters, Pamela Groff of Rumford, and Donna Hinkley and husband, Albert, of Howland; two grandchildren, Starla Cossaboom Brown and husband, Sean, of Lansdowne, Ontario, Canada, and Craig Gauthier and wife, Lyndsey, of Graham, Wash.; two stepgrandchildren, Gordon Hinkley and wife, Misty, of Winn, and Scott Hinkley and companion, Kim McReavy, of Avon; five great-grandchildren; a brother, Kenneth Kilgore of South Paris; and two nephews. She will be sadly missed by her fur babies, Iggy and Izzy-Belle.
