1917 – 2015
MANITOWOC, Wis. — Agnes M. O’Hanlon, 98, of 1800 Jefferson St., Two Rivers, Wis., formerly of Livermore Falls, passed away Saturday, July 18, at St. Mary’s Home Next Step, Manitowoc, Wis.
Agnes was born Jan. 23, 1917, in New York City, daughter of the late James and Sarah (nee Quinn) Quinn. On Aug. 21, 1937, she was united in marriage to Gerald J. O’Hanlon at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Bronx, N.Y. He preceded her in death on Dec. 12, 1987.
Agnes worked as an office manager for a physician in the state of Maine before her retirement. She was an active member of the Daughters of Isabella and Saint Rose of Lima Church, serving as past regent and treasurer. Agnes was most recently a member of St. Peter the Fisherman Catholic Church, Two Rivers. Survivors include one daughter, Anne-Marie Barry, Springfield, Va.; three sons and two daughters-in-law, James and Claudia O’Hanlon, Richmond, Va., Brian O’Hanlon, Keller, Texas, and G. John and Cynthia O’Hanlon, Washington, D.C.; 14 grandchildren, Mary-Kate, Timothy, Sean, Kerry, Marsha, Carolyn, Sharon, Jason, Agnes, Garrett, Frances, G. Quinn, Patrick and Jack; 19 great-grandchildren, especially Sarah Pratt; and several nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
Agnes was preceded in death by one son, Garrett B. O’Hanlon; one daughter and son-in-law, Ita “Tay” and Marshall M. “Sonny” Pratt; one grandson, Christopher G. Pratt; one son-in-law, Kevin P. Barry; four brothers; and two sisters.
