AUBURN – The production team for Community Little Theatre’s upcoming show “The Addams Family” has announced audition dates. Auditions for the new musical comedy will be held on at 6 p.m., Sunday, Aug. 9 and at 6:30 p.m., on Monday, Aug. 10th at 6:30pm. Should an auditioner need to be seen again, call-backs will be held at 1 p.m., Saturday, Aug. 15. “The Addams Family” auditions will consist of both vocal and dance auditions and are open to the public.
Auditioners should come prepared with 16-to-32 bars of a ballad or up-tempo song from “The Addams Family” in the part they wish to be considered for. An accompanist will be available at the audition, no acapella auditions will be heard. For the dance audition, please wear suitable dance wear; you will have time to change prior to this portion of the audition. All females auditioning should wear character heels. All men auditioning should wear oxford jazz shoes or jazz shoes. Please no sandals, crocks, boots, jeans, baggy or loose fitting clothing. Please bring water and inform the production staff of any injury or medical conditions you may have prior to the start of auditions. Headshots and resumes are strongly encouraged but are not mandatory.

The Production Team for “The Addams Family” will be directed by Kay Warren. Derrick Lacasse will be the producer and courtney Babbidge will serve as the musical director. Vincent Ratsavong will choreograph.
Community Little Theatre’s mission is to provide education and personal exposure to the art of live entertainment in the form of both musicals and non – musical productions. They are a local, non-profit, and volunteer driven, membership organization whose members offer a wide variety of personal talents. CLT is one of the oldest continuous community theaters in Maine.
