OXFORD — Jeffrey Obie of Minot and Marcia Obie of Oxford are announcing the engagement of their daughter, Kate Obie, to Devon Fluette, son of Raymond Fluette of Westerly, R.I., and Michelle Fluette of West Warwick, R.I.

Miss Obie is a 2008 graduate of Leavitt Area High School. She is currently employed as a slot supervisor at Oxford Casino.

Mr. Fluette is a 2006 graduate of West Warwick High School. He is currently employed as a table games floor supervisor at Oxford Casino.

The wedding will be held at a family’s residence in Monmouth on Aug. 29.
