I don’t understand the controversy about flying the Confederate flag. People are going way overboard about it.
Some people look at it as part of their heritage and history. Those people should have the right to fly that flag from their house or front lawn.
Other people feel the Confederate flag represents the fight about slavery and are deeply offended by it. State government is supposed to represent all residents, so I don’t believe that flag should fly on government property.
