BOOTHBAY HARBOR — Police are investigating the deaths of three people discovered Saturday after a call for a well-being check.

Two bodies were found inside a home on Lakeside Drive and later a third body was found inside a home on Montgomery Road, Department of Safety spokesman Steve McCausland said in a press release.

The victims, two men and a woman, are believed to be members of the same family.

The discovery was made after local police had been called to conduct a well-being check on one of the properties.

A team of State Police detectives began arriving in Boothbay Harbor at mid-day.
