Rangeley Ecumenical Food Pantry open Tuesdays
RANGELEY — The Rangeley Ecumenical Food Pantry is open Tuesdays from 10 a.m. to noon. It is located in the undercroft at the Church of the Good Shepherd (the Episcopal Church) on Maine Street.
Mt. Blue High School Class of 1990 25th reunion
FARMINGTON — The Mt. Blue High School Class of 1990 will hold its 25th reunion from 4 p.m. to midnight Saturday, Aug. 1, at Titcomb Mountain Ski Lodge.
It will include a pig roast and music.

Mexico High class of ’59 to meet
MEXICO — The Mexico High School Class of 1959 will meet at 11:30 a.m. Thursday, July 9, at the Covered Wagon.
Spouces and significant others are welcome.
The class will also meet Wednesday, July 22, at Dick Perry’s house.
Preparing for Birth classes offered at SMH
NORWAY — The Family Birthplace at Stephens Memorial Hospital will be holding their next four day Preparing for Birth class. Classes will be held Thursday evenings, July 9, 16, 23, and 30 from 6:30 to 8:45 p.m. in the Harper Conference Room at the Ripley Medical Office Building, 193 Main St.
Hilary Ware, RN, will be facilitating the course.
Expectant mothers will learn about the labor and delivery experience, exploring how to relax and allow themselves to flow with labor through breathing and relaxation techniques. The coach coach will learn how to assist the pregnant woman through the process of labor and share in the joy of the baby’s birth. Information on making a birth plan, comfort measures, stages of labor and cesarean delivery will be explored.
Pre-registration with payment is required. The fee for this class is $35.

Church seeks donations for Under the Tent-Sale
NORWAY — The Second Congregational Church, UCC, 205 Main St., is seeking donations of books for its Under the Tent Book Sale set for Saturday, July 11.
Books may be brought to the Church Tuesday through Friday, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the Sunday school room. If the church is locked, donations may be left by the ramp doors.
Volunteers are also needed to sort books on Thursday, July 9, and Friday, July 10.
The proceeds from the book sale will support the many missions of the congregation.

ATV safety course offered in Jay
JAY – The Police Department will offer a free ATV course from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, July 11, in the cafeteria of the Spruce Mountain Middle School on Community Drive.
Registration is required, and it is open to residents and non-residents.
The department asks that if participants have a helmet to bring it to class. There will be a few helmets available to wear for those who do not have one.
