LEWISTON — Kathleen Harper, D.O., has joined the physician staff at Central Maine Heart Associates in Lewiston.
Harper began her professional career more than two decades ago at Baystate Medical Center. She has served as a medical educator at Tufts University in Boston, Columbia University in New York City, and at New York Medical College.
Harper came to Maine two years ago and began work as director of cardiology at Mayo Regional Hospital in Dover-Foxcroft. She was also appointed to the medical staffs at Millinocket Regional Hospital in Millinocket and Penobscot Valley Hospital in Lincoln.
She is certified in cardiovascular disease by the American Board of Internal Medicine. She is also certified by the National Board of Osteopathic Medical Examiners, Society of echocardiography, nuclear cardiology and integrative and holistic medicine. She is a member of many professional societies, and is a fellow of the American College of Physicians and the American College of Cardiology.
Harper practices in collaboration with cardiologists David Abisalih, M.D., Robert Bender, D.O., Andrew Eisenhauer, M.D., Nicholas Laffely, M.D., Mark Lanzieri, M.D., Patrick Lawrence, M.D., Guru Mohanty, M.D., William Phillips, M.D., and Daniel Soroff, M.D.
