LEWISTON — Upgrades and repairs to the sewer lines under Lisbon Street will cause some traffic snarls and detours nightly this month.

Work kicks off with repairs to the street between Chestnut and Pine streets Tuesday and Wednesday. Work begins at 6 p.m. and should wrap by 7 a.m.

Truck traffic and deliveries will be detoured to Cedar Street for the duration, with other traffic detouring to Spruce, Bates and Ash streets.

The work is scheduled to move to Maple and Cedar streets Thursday and Friday, with all traffic detoured up Maple Street to Bates.

Work between Pine and Ash streets is tentatively scheduled to begin later this month, with traffic detouring up Pine to Bates Street for the duration.
