1940 – 2015

LEWISTON — Elizabeth “Betty Boop” A. Cunningham, 75, of Lewiston, passed away Thursday, May 7, at Russell Park Manor with her loving friends by her side.

Betty was born on Jan. 8, 1940. She worked for a few nursing homes in the area throughout her life. Betty enjoyed spending time with her friends at W.T. Twarog Senior Center, where she got to go fishing, go on picnics and do ceramics, arts and crafts. Betty loved watching the Sea Dogs, New England Patriots and Boston Red Sox play. She had the best smile and was definitely a jokester.

Betty is survived by her son, Alan; his wife, Marianne; and their children. Betty had a lot of friends and two special friends, one whom she used to call her sidekick, Dottie, and one whom her heart belonged to, Mike Giles.

She will be missed very much.

Betty, you are flying with the beautiful angels now. We love you.
