1923 – 2015
LEWISTON — Theresa L. (LeBrun) St. Clair, 91, of Lewiston, passed away peacefully with her family at her side on Monday, May 11, at the d’Youville Pavilion, where she was a resident for six years.
She was born in Lewiston on Sept. 23, 1923, the daughter of the late Paul and Josephine (Therriault) LeBrun. She was a lifelong resident of Lewiston, employed in the local shoe industry and St. Mary’s Regional Medical Center, from which she retired in 1986.
She was married to Maurice J. St. Clair on Sept. 22, 1951. He passed on Feb. 28, 1990.
Theresa was a member of Holy Cross Church, Prince of Peace Parish. She was an avid knitter who always knitted for family and friends. She also enjoyed bingo, and worked at the Monday night bingo at Holy Cross. She loved playing cards on Sundays with her sisters.
She is survived by her daughter, Suzanne St. Clair; and longtime friend, Linda Cole of Bonita, Calif.; two sisters, Gilberte LeBrun and Camillia Beauchesne and husband, Bertrand, all of Lewiston; niece and nephews; Donald, Richard and Paul III, Dennis and Daniel LeBrun, Paul Beauchesne, Joan Gonyea and Patrick St. Clair and their families.
Besides her husband, she was predeceased by a brother, Paul LeBrun; and two sisters, Yolande Pagurko and Simone Buzza.
The family would like to thank longtime friend, Sandie, for taking Theresa to Mass every week, and the staffs of 4 West at d’Youville Pavilion and Androscoggin Hospice for all the loving care they gave her.
