LEWISTON — A Mass of Christian Burial honoring the life of Simone R. Buzza was celebrated by Monsignor Marc Caron Tuesday, May 5, at Holy Cross Church of the Prince of Peace Parish, following prayers at the Pinette Dillingham & Lynch Funeral Home.

During Mass, Simone’s nephew, Richard LeBrun, proclaimed a reading from the New Testament. The Prayer of the Faithful was recited by Simone’s niece, Debbra Beauchesne. The Offertory song, “Here I am Lord,” was played and sung on guitar by Simone’s nephew, Daniel LeBrun. The Offertory gifts were brought to the altar by Linda LeBrun and Suzanne St. Clair.

Daniel LeBrun also sang and played on guitar the Communion Song, “I Will Rise.”

Following a funeral procession to St. Peter’s Cemetery, Monsignor Caron recited committal prayers, after which all in attendance were invited to a reception of fellowship at the Chick-A-Dee Restaurant in Lewiston.

Bearers were Paul and Barry Beauchesne and Donald and Denis LeBrun.

Arrangements by Pinette Dillingham & Lynch Funeral Home of Lewiston.
