ROXBURY — Jo Ellen Winslow, 59, a resident of Roxbury, died unexpectedly, Sunday, April 26, at her home.
She was born May 3, 1955, in Martins Ferry, Ohio, the daughter of John and Ruth (Kenney) Padgett. Jo Ellen was a 1973 graduate of Martins Ferry High School. On Oct. 3, 2009, in Stockholm, she married Rodney Winslow.
Jo Ellen worked as a substitute teacher and also played the piano for her church. She enjoyed crafts, playing piano, traveling and going to Oxford Casino. She will be deeply missed by her husband and family.
She is survived by her husband, Rodney Winslow Sr. of Roxbury; her daughter, Esther Riddle Winslow of Augusta; her son, John Matthew Riddle of Leesburg, Fla.; her stepsons, Jeffrey Winslow of Sparks, Nev., and Paul Winslow of Portland; her stepdaughter, Tiffany McNeil of Musquodoboit Harbour, Nova Scotia; and six grandchildren.
She was predeceased by her stepson, Rodney Winslow Jr.
