LEWISTON — A Funeral Mass honoring the life of Julienne S. St. Pierre was celebrated on Thursday, April 23, at the Basilica of Saints Peter and Paul Church, following prayers at the Pinette Dillingham & Lynch Funeral Home.

The Rev. Aaron Damboise celebrated the Mass and recited committal prayers at St. Peter’s Cemetery.

At the beginning of the Mass, the pall was placed on Julienne’s casket to symbolize her baptism into new life by her two daughters, Joline Ward and Pauline Chappell. The First Reading was read by her daughter, Linda Boucher. The Second Reading was read by her son, Robert St. Pierre and the Prayer of the Faithful was read by Julie Rioux. The Offertory was brought to the altar by her daughter, Linda Boucher and her son-in-law, Peter Grenon. Words of remembrance were expressed by her two daughters, Janice Fournier and Constance St. Pierre. Bearers were Sara Hendershot, Danny Fournier, Julianne Godfrey, Catherine Cornelio, Michael St. Pierre, Nadia Tuggle, Charles St. Pierre and Julie Rioux.

A reception of fellowship was held at DaVinci’s Eatery following the services at the cemetery.
