SABATTUS — A Monday night crash involving two cars at Crowley and Lisbon roads sent three people to the hospital, police said.

Antonio Ferland, 50, of Sabattus was driving a 2000 Toyota sedan westbound on Crowley Road at 8:11 p.m. when his driver’s side door was hit by a 2003 Volkswagen sedan driven by Kayla Curtis, 17, of Lewiston, who was southbound on Lisbon Road, according to police Chief Tony Ward.

Curtis was cited for failing to yield for a stop sign, Ward said.

One of three passengers in Curtis’ car was taken to a nearby hospital for treatment of minor injuries. Ferland was transported by ambulance for non-incapacitating injuries to his torso. His one passenger also was taken to the hospital, Ward said.

Air bags in both cars deployed, Ward said. Both cars were towed.
