1922 – 2015

AUBURN — Ralph A. Caron, 93, passed away peacefully Sunday, April 12, at Bolster Heights Health Care Facility, after a period of declining health.

He was born in Saint-Cyprien, Quebec, Canada on Jan. 22, 1922, the son of the late Joseph and Marie (Malenfant) Caron. Ralph attended the Sabattus School system and then went on to serve his country, enlisting in the U.S. Army and serving in World War II.

He was self-employed and enjoyed outdoor work and eating out.

He is survived by his sister, Lorraine Langlois of Lewiston; and many nieces and nephews.

Besides his parents, he is predeceased by three brothers, Charles, Sam and Leo; and four sisters, Delima Cloutier, Blanch Tardif, Loretta Chasse and Nancy Violette.

The family would like to thank the staff at Bolster Heights for the care they gave to Ralph during his nine-year residence. The family would also like to thank the dedicated staff at Beacon Hospice who helped Ralph at the end of his journey. We are grateful for the special friendships of George Damon, his roommate at Bolster, Bill Lee and Juan Barajas and family. Their presence enriched Ralph’s life and brought comfort and joy.
