Season outlook: The Falcons didn’t have any seniors a year ago and are still young, but the pitching staff has the potential to be outstanding. Fitzgerald notched three of MV’s four wins a year ago. LaPointe expects transfers Haddox (Arizona) and Pepin (Alaska) to make significant impact. The big question for the Falcons is offense. They batted .182 as a team in 2014. No player drove in more than seven runs or scored more than eight. If they can step up that production at all, they should be able to compete with anybody in the MVC.
