Coach: Chase Baker

Conference: MAISAD

Last year’s results: Boys: second in MAISAD, third in New England; Girls: third in MAISAD.

Returning athletes: Boys: Seniors — Nick Legare (200m, PV, 4×400), Tianren Qin (3000m, 1500m, 4×400), Jon Tuttle (400m, 4×400, Triple Jump), Jon Carls (Shot Put, Discus); Girls: Sophomore — Keniesha Pinder (100m, 200m, 400m).

Key losses: Boys: Josh Boylan, Duane Thompson, Makoto Watanabe, Ibra Mustapher; Girls: Abby Bennett, Boel Olsson.

Promising newcomers: Boys: Seniors — Noah LaPointe, Jeff Adegbe, Elijah Burns; Girls: Junior — Sam Munroe; Sophomore — Krissy Waite.

Season outlook: The Lumberjack boys will look to continue the success from last season’s run at the New England meet. Although they lost a key thrower, their top sprinters, jumpers, and distance runners remain very strong and should look to place well in each meet. On the girls side, the numbers are fairly low this year so each individual will focus on achieving their own personal best and improving throughout the season.
