1945 – 2015
FARMINGTON — Terry M. White, 70, a resident of Rocky Road in Jay, passed away very unexpectedly at his home Monday, April 6.
He was born on April 6, 1945, in Portland, the son of Reginald L. White and Hazel (Webster) White. Terry graduated from Wilton Academy in 1963. He is a veteran of the Vietnam War.
Terry worked for International Paper Co. for 43 years and retired from Verso Androscoggin in 2010. He was a member of the Quarter Century Club at International Paper Co. and also a member of the Frank L. Mitchell VFW Post 3335 and Lane-Dube Amvets Post 33, both in Jay.
Terry was a very fun-loving and generous person. He enjoyed playing golf, bowling and riding his motorcycle.
He is survived by one son, Todd Perkins and wife, Angelina, of Jay, one daughter, Shelley Perkins of Farmington; best friend, Nancy Couture; sisters, Bonnie Strout of Livermore Falls, and Linda Neuschwanger and her husband, Jim, of East Wilton; one brother, Brian White and his significant other, Erna, of Jay, two grandchildren, Tyler Sergio and Tanner Bessey; his granddogger “Boudie”; former wife, Valerie White of Bonita Spring, Fla.; and many nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his parents; nephew, Ken Strout; brother-in-law, Robert Strout; and sister-in-law, Linda White.
