SELINSGROVE, Pa. — Greta Castonguay of Turner served an internship last fall at Clinical Curvo Dental (Curve Dental Clinic) in Malabo, Equatorial Guinea.

Castonguay will spend over a month shadowing dental professionals to learn more about the requirements of the field. She will spend at least 40 hours observing the daily activities and procedures conducted in the office, and will earn an internship credit.

Castonguay is a biology major of the Class of 2016. A 2012 graduate of Leavitt Area High School, she is the daughter of David and Gisele Castonguay.

ASHLAND, Ohio — Kara Davison of Raymond has been accepted to Ashland University for the fall semester of 2015 and will receive the Director’s Scholarship for $7,000 annually to attend Ashland.

ITHACA, N.Y. — The Office of Student Engagement and Multicultural Affairs at Ithaca College awarded Elijah Breton of Poland, a junior communication studies major in the School of Health Sciences and Human Performance at Ithaca College, the Peggy Ryan Williams Award for Academic and Community Leadership.

The award recognizes students who excel academically, perform service to the college community and nation, and represent an exemplary level of accomplishment.

Nominees for the award must be a junior or senior and maintain at least a 3.0 cumulative grade point average, be in good judicial standing and made a minimum of three contributions in academic, community service or extracurricular activities.
