I have heard that there could be cuts in funding for programs for the elderly, such as Meals on Wheels and others.

Why?

The elderly count on such programs to make ends meet and to get a good meal. Those programs must not be cut.

Everyone gets old. Not even politicians can stop that. Those same politicians want a pay raise. It’s pathetic that they would cut programs for the elderly just so they can have a pay raise. There is something wrong with that.
