SUMNER — The Rev. Howard MacMullen invites the public to the Holy Week services at the Congregational Church of East Sumner at 50 Main St.

Palm branches will be given to attendees at the 9 a.m. Palm Sunday service on March 29; personal prayer time will be available following worship.

The Maundy Thursday Tenebrae Service will be held at 7 p.m.; the Sacrament of the Lord’s Supper will be observed. There will be a Good Friday Vigil in the sanctuary from noon to 6 p.m.; the service will be held at 6:30.

The Resurrection will be celebrated on Easter Sunday with a 7 a.m. service including the Sacrament of the Lord’s Supper.

An Easter brunch will be offered shortly after 8 a.m. The 9 a.m. service will also include the Sacrament of the Lord’s Supper and be followed by coffee and refreshments.
