You see it in advertisements on television and elsewhere — people taking part in exercise programs at fitness centers or gyms. Those cost money.

You want exercise? Find an old, unplowed logging road or an open field (get permission, first) and try walking through that deep, deep snow for a couple of hours or so. You will get your exercise.

If people did that, they would feel better and would sleep better at night as well.

People go to the fitness centers and gyms and pay money because they think that being seen by others proves they work out.

Out in the woods, no one else sees you exercise, but it is free of charge.
