Auburn police and rescuers responded to a head-on collision at the intersection of Court and Lake streets just after 9 p.m. Saturday. Court Street was closed between Granite and Goff streets while firefighters worked to clean up the accident involving an SUV and a sedan. Firefighters at the scene said a 61-year-old woman, a passenger in the sedan, complained of back pain and was taken by ambulance.
