FARMINGTON/RUMFORD — Franklin Savings Bank and Western Mountain Financial Services are sponsoring two free-ski events in February.

At Titcomb Ski Slope on Friday, Feb. 20, skiing and boarding will be free from 4 to 8 p.m. Rentals will be available at a reduced price of $10, while they last.

At Black Mountain of Maine on Thursday, Feb. 26, skiing, boarding and tubing will be free. Rentals will be available for $15, while they last.

“The free ski events are a great way to introduce families to healthy outdoor activities during the long Maine winter,” said Shelley Deane, senior vice president at Franklin Savings Bank.

“It’s great to see families participate. Skiing can be expensive and the free ski night makes it possible for everyone,” said Diane Perry, manager of the River Valley Branch of Franklin Savings Bank.
