LEWISTON — Three people were arrested late Thursday night and charged with trafficking in heroin and crack cocaine.

According to the Maine Drug Enforcement Agency, the men charged are:

* Corinthian Wright, 31, of Long Island, N.Y., charged with unlawful aggravated trafficking in crack cocaine and heroin. He was transported to the Androscoggin County Jail by Lewiston police, where he is being held on $25,000 cash bail.

* Kendall Francis, 30, of Baltimore, Md., charged with unlawful aggravated trafficking in crack cocaine and heroin. He was also transported to the Androscoggin County Jail, where he is being held on $25,000 cash bail.

* Randy Gosselin, 31, of Lewiston, charged with unlawful furnishing of crack cocaine. Bail set at $100 cash.

According to the MDEA, at about 11 p.m. Thursday, agents from the MDEA Western District Task Force and officers of the Lewiston Police Department executed a search warrant at a third-floor apartment at 99 Horton St.

The search warrant was the result of an ongoing state and federal investigation into out-of-state drug traffickers who come to Maine to sell illegal drugs.

As a result of the search warrant, agents seized 150 grams of crack cocaine and 50 grams of heroin, with a combined approximate street value of $32,000. Police also seized about $2,500 in suspected drug proceeds.

Wright, also known by his street name “Tanner,” Francis, also known by the street name “Doo,” and Gosselin were all arrested without incident inside the Horton Street apartment.

Several other people were in the apartment at the time, including the person renting the apartment. All may face charges in the future as the investigation continues, according to the MDEA.
