* At 12:58 p.m. on Jan. 23, a Rumford man reported that someone stole a $60 cellphone from his residence. Cpl. Lawrence Winson is investigating.

* At 1:48 p.m. on Jan. 22, a business owner reported the theft of a sewing machine in Rumford that is valued at $950. Sgt. Doug Maifeld is investigating.

* At 9:53 p.m. on Jan. 21, a Rumford resident reported that her bank account had been compromised and there were suspicious charges on her account. Sgt. James Bernard is investigating.
