PORTLAND — U.S. Cellular has named Michael Begin to wireless solutions architect for U.S. Cellular in New England. Begin will serve as a technical and solutions design resource to the U.S. Cellular business customers and sales team in Maine, New Hampshire and Vermont. He will be responsible for interacting with business customers and providing information technology solutions (MDM, M2M, telemetry and other types of wireless solutions, networking, and connectivity) that meet their specific needs.

Begin joined U.S. Cellular in December 2014, bringing more than 20 years of experience in business, telecommunications, information technology, engineering and technical sales. He has served businesses throughout Maine, New Hampshire and Vermont. Most recently, he was an enterprise sales engineer for FairPoint Communications.

He is working on a master’s degree in business administration at Husson University in Bangor. He lives in Minot with his wife and two sons.
