Danville Grange meeting on ‘Grangers’

AUBURN — The meeting of Danville Junction Grange 65, which was originally scheduled for Jan. 8, will be held this Thursday, Jan. 22, at 7 p.m.

The program is titled “Grangers.” Several of the longtime members will speak about what the Grange means to them.

Refreshments will be served at the close of the meeting.

Members who have clipped coupons for the troops are reminded to bring them.

All members and guests are welcome.

Workshop: ‘Making Friends With The IEP’

LISBON — Lisbon Schools, in partnership with the Lisbon Community School PTO, are presenting a workshop titled “Making Friends With The IEP” at 6 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 22, at Lisbon Community School, 33 Mill St.

This free presentation will be facilitated by Ann Long of the Maine Parent Federation. Parents from any school district who have children receiving special education services, or who wish to learn more about individual education plans, are welcome to attend.

Bean supper at Sixth St. Congregational

AUBURN — Sixth Street Congregational Church at 109 Sixth St. will hold a baked bean supper from 4:30 to 6 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 24.

The menu consists of several types of baked beans, brown bread, hot dogs, cole slaw, American chop suey, assorted desserts and beverage. The cost of the supper is $5 for adults, $3 for children ages 5-12. Children under the age of 5 are free. All are welcome.

Bean, ham supper at United Methodist

LISBON — A home-baked bean and ham supper will take place from 5 to 6 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 24, at United Methodist Church, 14 School St.

Cost is $7 for adults, $3 for ages 6-12 and free for 5 and under.

The meal is hosted by the Methodist Women.

GRAY — A baked bean supper will be held at 5 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 24, at First Congregational Church, Route 115.

The mean includes casseroles, salads, homemade breads and desserts.

Cost is 8 for adults and $4 for children under 12.

The church is handicapped accessible.
