RUMFORD — Selectmen will convene for two workshops next week in the Municipal Building.

The first will be held at 6 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 6, in the Jury Room to discuss where the board stands on the police services consolidation budget. It is a precursor to the joint meeting with Mexico selectmen at 6 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 7, in the Mexico Town Office to discuss consolidating police departments for both towns.

The second workshop will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 8, in the Conference Room to discuss the possibility of outsourcing payroll.
