AVON — A Massachusetts woman is accused of pointing a shotgun at her boyfriend and beating his truck with the butt of her gun while he was seated inside it at his residence on Duck Scout Road, Franklin County Sheriff Scott Nichols Sr. said.

Franklin County deputies arrested Diane Bouley, 47, of Erving, Mass., on Sunday on a felony charge of domestic violence terrorizing and a misdemeanor charge of reckless conduct with a firearm.

Cpl. Nate Reid and Deputy Kevin Hartley responded Sunday to a report of a domestic dispute.

Bouley and her boyfriend got into an argument and she pointed a pump-action shotgun at him. He left the residence and got in his pickup truck, Nichols said.

Bouley followed him out and started to beat the truck with the butt of the gun while he dialed 911. She then went back inside. Bouley later came out and continued to beat the truck, he said.

After sheriff’s deputies met with the boyfriend, they went to the house, ordered her to drop the gun and come out. She did, he said.

Bouley was still at the Franklin County jail in Farmington on Monday night. Her bail was set by the court Monday at $500 cash, a corrections officer said.
