Just a year ago, we were told that Black Mountain Ski Resort was going to close. With the deep history of skiing in Rumford, closing Black Mountain was not an option. An outpouring of support from the local community and across the United States insured the Mountain would open.
Black Mountain’s mission is to re-establish skiing as a lifelong sport and to provide an affordable and healthy outdoor recreation offering in our area. After offering a $15 lift ticket for everyone, we saw tremendous success with an exponential jump in skier visits.
More importantly, new families and an incredible number of little skiers flock to the mountain every weekend. We see skiers every weekend who keep coming back to enjoy the skiing experience Black Mountain has to offer.
This could not have happened without the generous support we have received from so many people last year.
Black Mountain has made great strides in the financial condition of the Mountain. We still need your help to continue with our goal as we build out our snow-making capacity and position the Mountain to be self sustaining for future generations.
Black Mountain Ski Resort is a 501(c)(3) non-profit corporation. Your tax-deductible donation is greatly appreciated and will help Black Mountain sustain its mission.
