FARMINGTON — The University of Maine at Farmington 2014-15 Winter Term courses are open for registration by members of the public not enrolled in a UMF degree program.

Spaces are still available in business, biology, chemistry, political science, psychology and recreation courses.

Course listings can be found online at www.umf.maine.edu. Click on the “Courses” link at the bottom of the page and on “Take a Non-Degree Course” on the menu on the right. Select “Winter 2014” and click on the subject to see the available courses. Some courses may have prerequisites.

Members of the public can preregister for any course online by adding it to the online book bag. They will then be contacted by a representative from the UMF Merrill Center.

Individuals may also register in person from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday at the Merrill Center in UMF’s Merrill Hall, 224 Main St.

Winter term courses will begin Dec. 29 and run until Jan. 16. The deadline for course registration is the first day of classes and is available on a first-come, first-served basis.
