I agree with The Washington Post article by Marc Thiessen, printed in the Sun Journal Dec. 3. In the article, Thiessen objected to allowing benefits to those illegal immigrants who are subject to the Obama immigration policy — no welfare, food stamps, tax credits, Social Security or Medicare until they become U.S. Citizens. I would add, no voting rights and no eligibility for the Affordable Care Act.
Social Security card design features are necessary to separate and identify the working, crime-free illegal immigrant participants to block unauthorized U.S. benefits.
While complying with current Social Security card design conventions, provide a prefix letter “W” as the first character in the nine-character Social Security number. For example: The W02-31-5075 card would identify working illegal immigrant number 2,315,075 out of the planned 5 million.
All income tax processes must identify the participant as a special “W-taxpayer” and would bypass provisions for the “earned income tax credit.” Without unique identification, it could enable illegal immigrants to receive payments for their expected low incomes. According to a Fox News report on Oct. 22, 2013, “In 2013, more than 27 million families received nearly $62 billion in credits.”
Elected officials must prevent use of that tax credit or there will be additional multi-billion dollar costs just for the illegal immigrants.
Voter registration groups must forbid registration for illegal immigrants, including those with a “W” prefix on their Social Security card identification. Driver’s licenses must also include the “W” prefix.
The U.S. political posture must focus on security, economics, compassion and controls.
