BATH — Old-fashioned Christmas will begin with the western swing-style of Sonny Perry at 7:30 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 29, at the Chocolate Church Arts Center. This concert will combine Christmas favorites with other country tunes from the 1950s, ’60s and ’70s.

Perry, who has performed on the Grand Ole Opry stage, has been compared to the rich baritone style of Johnny Cash. He teams up with the musicians of The Nashville North Band who play for the love of the music.

This concert is the first in the International Christmas of Music series that includes Celtic music by Coig on Dec. 5, and Italian Christmas by Newpoli on Dec. 13.

Tickets for Country Christmas with Sonny Perry and the Nashville North Band are $12 in advance and $15 at door; available at www.chocolatechurcharts.org or 207-442-8455. The Chocolate Church Arts Center is at 804 Washington Street.
