LEWISTON — Marc and Lynnette Morency of Lewiston are announcing the engagement of their daughter, Samantha Anne Morency of Freeport, to Andrew Paul Pelletier of Freeport, son of Steve and Caroline Pelletier of Topsham.

Miss Morency is a 2008 graduate of Lewiston High School, a 2012 graduate of the University of Maine with a bachelor’s degree in elementary education and a 2013 graduate of Northeastern University with a master’s degree in sports leadership. She is owner of Strella’s Treats and is employed by Vineyard Vines in Freeport.

Mr. Pelletier is a 2007 graduate of Mt. Ararat High School and a 2011 graduate of Thomas College with a bachelor’s degree in sports management. He is employed by Seacoast United Soccer Club where he is director of coaching and is head coach for Falmouth High School girls varsity soccer.

The wedding will be held July 4 at South Freeport Congregational Church, Freeport.
