TURNER — William and Kathryn Dyer of Turner are proud to announce the engagement of their daughter, Paige Dyer, to Stephen Knowlton, son of Stephen and Tammy Knowlton of Auburn.

Miss Dyer attended Leavitt Area High School and graduated from the University of Maine at Orono in 2012 with a degree in elementary education. She now resides in Turner and is a third grade teacher at Sylvio J. Gilbert Elementary School in Augusta.

Mr. Knowlton attended Edward Little High School and will graduate with his doctorate in physical therapy from Husson University in May of 2015.

The couple met in the summer of 2012 and became formally engaged June 14. Wedding plans are for Friday, July 10, at the Dyer residence at Pleasant Pond in Turner.
