Two vocalists from the Telstar High School Music Department were recently selected to sing at the All New England Choral Festival at Plymouth State University last week. Nick Johnson and Aislinn Forbes performed with a collective 225 voices representing the New England states.  Their concert concluded a daylong event studying and performing the music and poetry surrounding Civil War themes to honor the 150th anniversary of the American Civil War.  The festival conductor was Dr. Daniel Perkins, Director of Choral activities at Plymouth State University, and Charlie Blood as the accompanist.
