AUBURN — Platz Associates congratulates Travis Nadeau on gaining his Maine architectural license.
Platz Associates is a multidiscipline design and construction management firm formed in 1980.
Nadeau grew up in Brunswick and attended Syracuse University in upstate New York where he earned a Bachelor of Architecture degree. Following graduation, he first worked in Maryland and then in Boston on many large-scale retail, civic and residential projects. He returned to Maine in 2004 and joined Platz Associates in downtown Auburn.
Since then, he has completed design coordination of six adaptive reuse projects, two of which have received Maine Preservation Awards: the 48-unit Lofts at the Bates Mill and the Business Service Center, an adaptive reuse of Maine’s first indoor automobile dealership in downtown Lewiston.
Nadeau is a licensed architect, a LEED-accredited professional, and has a strong interest in hands-on learning. In addition to his design work, he also has extensive carpentry and contracting experience through his many residential renovation projects.
Travis lives in Lisbon Falls with his wife and two young boys.
