As I write this, Rumford is displaying the wonderful mountain colors with a little hint of snow in the mountain tops. Thanksgiving is right around the corner. The members of the Chamber wish you a happy Holiday!

Christmas in the Valley will take place from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 6, at the Mountain Valley High School. This is always a fun day to get those special holiday gifts.

The Christmas in the Valley Parade will be the night before on Friday, Dec. 5. The parade starts promptly at 6:30 p.m. and will proceed up Hancock Street, down Lincoln Avenue, up Waldo Street and will end up on Congress Street in Rumford. The floats will be stopped on Congress Street while Santa goes to perform the tree lighting ceremony. Hope you bring the family and friends!

November and December are the months for the Chamber membership drive. If you are a business in the River Valley, consider joining the Chamber this year. You will have the opportunity to be part of the Chamber website, be featured in this monthly Newsbrief and be part of many planned networking opportunities planned for 2015. You will be kept up to date with the ‘Weekly Events’ emailed directly to your inbox.

In addition, Chamber submits a weekly article to the Rumford Falls Times informing the residents of the River Valley happenings. The River Valley Chamber wants to help you become noticed to grow your business.
