- Mt. Auburn Avenue between Gracelawn Road and Park Avenue in Auburn was closed after a car snapped a utility pole in half on Friday morning. The driver was being treated at the scene. Auburn police, Auburn firefighters and Central Maine Power responded to the accident, which occurred at around 8:15 a.m.
