Voters have a special opportunity to elect a candidate who can overcome the gridlock, the partisanship and the divisiveness that has charted Maine on the wrong course for some many years.

That candidate is independent Eliot Cutler.

In the debates, Cutler demonstrated how deeply he cares about the state of Maine. While LePage and Michaud were squabbling and bickering, Cutler was talking about his plan for education reform and a vision that included reducing the barriers to higher education, so that all Mainers had a fighting chance to succeed in the 21st century and restore Maine as a state of opportunity.
