As a retired educator, grandparent and independent voter, I have been greatly disappointed in the past four years of negative, ineffective leadership under the current governor of my beloved state of Maine.

Maine needs a governor who has done bipartisan work in both state and national legislative offices. Maine needs a leader who supports veterans, businesses, the public schools and the conservation of the state’s treasured natural resources.

I believe that Mike Michaud is the only candidate to fulfill those important needs as Maine’s next governor. He has my vote.
