I write in support of Mark Cayer for the District 61 seat in the Maine House of Representatives.

I have known him professionally for many years in his positions as a law enforcement officer and now a private investigator. I know him as the respected president of the Lewiston City Council and, finally, as a frequent breakfast companion.

His professional and political career has exemplified the finest standards of honesty and integrity. He is not the captive of some extremist ideology or beholden to the orders of local or state political “leaders” or groups of any political stripe who have their own agendas.

As he has demonstrated time and again on the City Council, his goal is to advance the interests of the citizens of our city. In the Maine House of Representatives, as an official dedicated only to his constituents, Mark Cayer can get things done for Lewiston.
