We write this letter in support of Guy Iverson as our state representative. After talking to him, we are convinced that he is the person who will serve area residents most effectively in the new Legislature.

We are not looking for a miracle worker, just a worker with intelligence and compassion. Iverson is that person. His positions on the environment, living wages, taxes and education are right on target.

We have lived in Chesterville for the past 40 years, raised a family here, and both of our children graduated from Mt. Blue High School. We are both now retired and active in the community.

We are confident that Iverson will do more than protect our future and our community’s future — he will nourish it in a fiscally responsible way.

Those people who live in District 114 should vote to send Guy Iverson to Augusta.
