JAY — The last day to get an absentee ballot for the statewide Nov. 4 election, without having a special circumstance, is Oct. 30, Town Clerk Ronda Palmer said Wednesday.

The Town Office will be closed Nov. 4 so staff members can assist at the polls. Voting will take place from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. at the Community Building.

The Town Office will also be closed Veterans Day, Nov. 11, Palmer said.
