I am writing about the Sun Journal’s reporting of the recent tragedy in the town of Peru. I found the newspaper’s daily reporting less than helpful for the family involved.

I think the mother and her six-year-old child have gone through enough without the Sun Journal daily reports on the details.

Please consider, now and in the future, the feelings of the people involved when writing about events such as that one and, please, stop making matters worse.
